Albert HAROLD Minton
March 26, 1921 — August 1, 2014
Funeral Services for Mr. Albert Harold Minton will be held Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from Carmel Community Church in Spring Garden with Rev. Neal Lanigan and Rev. Kenneth Hinkley officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Highland Cemetery in Piedmont.
Mr. Minton, 93, of Spring Garden passed away Friday, August 1 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. The last of twelve children born to Albert Augusta and Martha Anna Casey Minton, he
proudly served as Corporal in the US Marine Corp during World War II in combat on Guam and Iwo Jima. He was a member of Carmel Community Church.
He is survived by his wife: Louise Morrow Minton; sons: Don Minton and David ( LeAnne) Minton; grandchildren: Kim Ramey, Jason Minton, and Laura Minton; and great granddaughter: Regan Nabors.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Minton, Lane Formby, Buddy Minton, Jason Minton, Jeff Formby, and Boyd Reese.
There will be no visitation and the family requests no flowers, but memorial donations to Carmel Community Church in Harold's memory.
