Annette Tolbert Beal

Dorris Annette Tolbert Beal, 84, of Piedmont, passed away on Friday, May 03, 2024 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.  She born in Calhoun County to Thomas Jackson and Millie Flora Lockridge Tolbert.  

Ms Beal was active in her church until her health prevented it. She was of the holiness faith and was a loving mother who cared for her home and her five children.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: John Henry Melvin Beal; and two sons: Thomas Maddox and Jackie “Tat” Maddox.

She is survived by her daughter: Darlene Marshall; two sons: Donnie Maddox and Keith Maddox; sister: Sarah Louise Williams;

 and brother: Billy R. Tolbert; 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.  

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. with the service at 7:00 p.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel. The family will have a private committal on Wednesday from Highland Cemetery with grandchildren serving as pallbearers.
