Annie Coheley

ANNIE MAE ALLEN COHELEY, 77, of Piedmont, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at her granddaughter’s home.  She was born in Polk Co., GA to Lawrence Washington and Velmer Pointer Allen. She worked in retail sales most of her life and was of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband:  Edward Lee Coheley; son: Tony Bruce Canter; two daughters: Cynthia Ann Bullock Canter and Tracie Canter; brother: Thomas Luther Allen; and brother in law: Jimmy Strickland.                                                  She is survived by son: Solomon (Amanda Hines) Canter, Jr.; sister: Diane Allen Strickland; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and one on the way; 31 great, great grandchildren and one on the way; and 5 great, great, great grandchildren.                                                                            Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 30 at 2:00 p.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with visitation from 12:00-2:00 p.m.  Burial will follow in Oak Level Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob, Cody, Logan, Austin, Jordan, Solomon, and Karisa.                                            Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Coheley Family.
