Betty Marie Carter, 71, of Piedmont, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015 with her husband at her side. Mrs. Carter was born in Mobile, AL on Thursday, May 25, 1944 to Emery Earl and Virginia Elizabeth Finch Hudson. She was employed with the State of Arizona as an accountant until her retirement.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Ronald Ray Carter, Sr; son: Michael ( Kim ) Carter of Arizona; daughter in law: Angela Carter; 3 granddaughters: Shannon Megan Carter, Sammi Renae Carter, and
Savannah Rae Carter; 4 brothers: Emery "Sonny" Jr., George, Jack, and Cecil; 3 sisters: Carolyn, Sandy, and Charlotte.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son: Ronald Ray Carter, Jr.; and sisters: Teeny and Patricia;
As per her wishes, she will be cremated.
