Billy Russell

BILLY HAROLD RUSSELL, 74, of the Vigo Community, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2019 at his residence.  He was one of fourteen born in Cherokee Co., AL to C. B. and Annie Lou Wood Russell. He worked at Bostrom Seating for more than 30 years, Superior Gas for 7 years, was a volunteer fireman for many years and was married to Carolyn Janelle Rhinehart.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son: Randy Burton Russell and siblings: Clarence, Charles, Gwen, Dorothy, Clara, Mack, Norman, Ethelene, and Joyce.

He is survived by his daughter: Melanie (Dusty) Bryan; son: Tim Russell; brother: Bobby Russell; sisters: his twin, Betty Carol Russell, Nilmarg Smart, and Louise Law; grandchildren: Alisha, Amanda and Nicholas; And one great grandchild: Makynze

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 14 at Dansby Heritage Chapel from 2- 3 PM. The service will be at 3:00 PM with Rev. Ted Anderson and Rev.  Jerry Stewart officiating.  Burial will follow in Piedmont Memory Garden.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Smith, Jimmy Kirk, Destin Smith, Dustin Bryan, Noah O’Dell and Nicholas O’Dell.
