Bobbie Crumley

BOBBIE GAIL CRUMLEY, 82, of Piedmont, passed away on June 20th, 2022 at her home in Piedmont.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, June 23rd at Dansby Heritage Chapel.  Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Crossville, AL.

Mrs. Crumley was preceded in death by her husband Bob Crumley; her daughters Karen Crumley and Sharon Masters; her granddaughter Melissa Masters; her parents Dennis William and Maggie Mae Roden; and her siblings:  Tommy Roden, Ray Roden, Charlie Thomas and Kathy Roden.

Bobbie was born in Crossville, AL and lived there until she moved to Illinois.  After living in Illinois, she came back to Alabama and lived in the Cherokee County area.  She was a very religious person, letting her faith shine through in her actions.  Her faith in God was very important to her and she attended church until her health declined.

Mrs. Crumley had a very dry sense of humor.  She was ‘unintentionally funny’ and kept those laughing around her.

Bobbie is survived by her children:  Bryan Crumley (Kathy) of Michigan; Sheila Sheppard (Jack) of Decatur; her brother Roy Roden; her sisters Martha Burkett; Betty Atwood and Debbie Pannell and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Melanie Attwood, Shannon Girod, Anthony Hitchcock, Sue Ann Hitchcock, Breann Rowland and Sabrina Dupree. Rev. Randell Christopher will be officiating.ley

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 22nd at Dansby Heritage Chapel.
