Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 at Dansby Heritage Funeral Chapel for Bonnie Louise White, 93, who passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Rev. Ken Phillips will officiate. Burial will be at Piedmont Memory Gardens. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mrs. White was a native of Cherokee County. She had attended Daily Street Church and was a current member of West Side Baptist Church in Jacksonville. She taught Sunday School for 50 years and also worked and taught Vacation Bible School. She loved to quilt, sew, and embroidery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy C. White; parents, Freeman and Mae Lay; one brother; and four sisters.
She is survived by her son; Billy (Virginia) White; daughters, Betty (Donnie) Kelley, and Anne (David) Stoneburner; grandchildren: LeAnne Dickeson, Seresa (Jason) Cartwright, Michelle Byers, Craig (Brandilynn) Kelley, and Nick Stoneburner; great-grandchildren: Dakota DeBerry, Trent Dickeson, Mason Mulville, Hali Dickeson, Hannah Kelley, C.J. Kelley, and Zoe Kelley; and brother, Jack (Sue) Lay.
Pallbearers will be: Trent Dickeson, Matthew Creel, Barrett Ragsdale, Mike Lay, L.C. Crane, and Jerry Sparks.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior Adult Class at West Side Baptist Church.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Continue the Challenge Fund at West Side Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home prior to the service.
