Brenda Devaney

BRENDA LYNN DEVANEY, 58, of Piedmont, passed away on Friday, December 02, 2016 at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital in Anniston.  She was born in Detroit, MI to Edward Fred and Mary Nell Brown Devaney. She had been a resident of Cherokee County for 16 years and was a member of Christian Life Center Church.  Brenda loved her family, God, making crafts and quilts.  Her favorite animal was a penguin.  She was loved and respected by many and will be greatly missed.                                                She is survived by her mother: Mary Devaney; sister: Ella Devaney; brother: Kenneth Wallace; and other family:  Louise (Stanley) Patterson, Janice (Henry) Holt,  Erica (Buck) Pruitt, Jacob Pruitt, Brian Danford, Derek Danford, Taylor Holt and  Lola Holt.                                                                                                                                                           Visitation will be Sunday, December 4, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Dansby Heritage Chapel.  Funeral service will be Monday, December 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Dansby Heritage Chapel with burial to follow in Mountain Springs Cemetery in Cherokee County.                                                                                                            Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Devaney Family.
