Carolyn Crook Burrows, 84, of Piedmont, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at her sister’s home in Georgia. The Calhoun native, borne to George Washington and Hettie Moore Crook was the widow of Nathan Ray Burrows, and had worked for 32 years at Blue Mountain in Anniston as an inspector.
She is survived by her caring nephew, Eric Barnes; son: Randy Burrows; daughters: Sheila (Darrell) Glass and Robin (Charlie) Janney; sisters: JoAnn Roberts and Patsy (Skip) Gilbert; brother: Frank Crook; grandchildren: Brandon Burrows, Zachery Glass, Drew Janney and Kacie Janney; one great grandchildren: Keylee Burrows and Tatum Fox; and several nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 12:00 from Piedmont Memory Garden with Rev. Charlie Janney officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Barnes, Steve Roberts, Mike Roberts, Darrell Glass, Brandon Burrows, and Jeff Ploof
