Carolyn Minton

Carolyn Frances Minton, 75, passed away suddenly Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Gadsden.  She was one of eleven children born to Odis and Clyde Stewart Minton and had  lived in Calhoun County all of her life. She attended Carmel Presbyterian Church, loved flowers, and talking with friends. She never met a stranger and always had a smile for everyone.  She was preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings:  Nellie Wood, Thomas Minton, Ann Boatwright, and Kay Young.                                                                                         She is survived by her brother: Eddie (Gail) Minton; sisters: Treva (Jeff) Hanvey, Elsie Gaddy, Betty White, Jeanette (Wayne) Ray, and Rita (Buster) Parker; and numerous nieces and nephews who were dearly loved by her.                                                                                                                     Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Renn Ferguson officiating and burial in Carmel Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m.                                                                                                                                                                          Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Minton Family.
