Memorial Services for Carolyn Morgan Rainey Muehlmeyer will be held Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Liberty Baptist Church in Spring Garden.
Ms Muehlmeyer, 72, of Spring Garden, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at her residence. She was one of seven children born to C.E. and Pearl McKelvey Morgan and was a spinner at SCT Cotton Mill. She was preceded in death by her parents: husband: James Willis Rainey; twin brother, Harlan Morgan; sisters: Frances Cannon and Vanda Morgan; and granddaughter: Michelle Carroll. Survivors include her daughter: Lisa Carol Rainey Ramirez; sons: Jimmy Dewayne Rainey, Gary Douglas Rainey, Michael James Rainey, Dennis Ray Rainey, and Christopher Dale Rainey; sisters:
Doris Engford, Helen Dickey and Glenda Nicholson; grandchildren: Heather Lynn Rainey, Gary Hubbard Rainey, Elizabeth Michelle Rainey, Joseph Parker, Shawna Dawn Houston, Rita Mason, Jacob Mitchum, Jessie Mitchum, Kayla Christene Rainey, Adam Nelson and Lauren Nelson.
