Charles Lockridge

December 11, 1944 — September 16, 2014

Charles William Lockridge, 69, of Weaver, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. He was born in Calhoun Co., AL to Morris David and Ora Lucille Maddox Lockridge,  and was a mechanic.                                                                                    Survivors include his wife:  Beth Lockridge; daughters: Lori Ann Tipton, Teresa Almond, Sherry Lynn Lockridge, Christine Pruitt, and Carla Ballew; brother: Benny Lockridge; sisters: Ruby Hitchcock, Jewel Cooper, Louise Boatner, and Carol Cobb; 9 grandchildren: Cody Almond, Michael Ray Smith, Anthony Tipton, Chris Crane, Amber Pruitt Alexander, Autumn Pruitt, Ashton Pruitt, Brett Ballew, and DJ Ballew; and 6 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by one son: Charles Ray Lockridge.                                                                                                            Funeral services will be held Thursday, Sept. 18 at 2:00 p.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Pastor Dale Lockridge officiating.  Visitation will be from 12- 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Edgemont Cemetery in Anniston.                                                                                                                                  Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Lockridge Family.
