Charlotte Sexton, born November 20, 1933 (to Romaine and Alma Johnson) passed away at her home on January 9, 2016. Charlotte was a dedicated wife, loving mother, and grand-mother. Family always held greatest importance in her life. She was a good hearted, fun loving person who leaves memories of laughter and joy, While her loss will leave a great void, it will be filled with memories of all the love and happiness she gave others. She was a member of Shady Grove Methodist Church.
She is survived by three children: Debra (David) Jones, Ricky Sexton, and Delores (Bruce) Collier; eight grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. Special granddaughter, Linda Paradis, (loving caregiver) and great grandson, Arlo, have been the light of her life for the past months. Also survived by sister: Vanda (Vester) Holder; brother: Orville (Phyllis) Johnson ; and brother in law: Bobby Sexton.
She was preceded in death by the other half of her being, Billy Sexton, husband of 59 years.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Johnathon Maddox officiating at Dansby Heritage Chapel. Visitation will be from 12 until 2 PM Tuesday.
Burial will follow in Littlejohn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Adam Collier, Andrew Paradis, James Jones, Matthew Jones, Gatlin Nelson, and Jason Johnson.
