Cody Smith

CODY RAY SMITH, 33, of Jacksonville, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020 from injuries  sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Anniston, was in the housing construction, and a huge Auburn Fan.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Bobbie Sue and Roger Wilkerson.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                He is survived by his mother: Cynthia (Michael) Thrasher;  father: Ray Duncan; his honorary children:  Kaleenah Paige and Jaiden Johnson; brothers: Nathaniel Duncan, Dustin (April) Thrasher and their children, Ashlyn, Trenton and Noah; sisters: Summer Dawn (Ozack Walker) Hilton and her children, Brayden Wayne Poole and Kason Ozack Walker; Charity Duncan, and  Brandi McDaniel and her children: Travis Harris, William Campbell, and Cayden McDaniel; Aunts: MeMe Ward, Nana Johnson, and Tasha Watson; cousins: Brandon and Anthony Ward, Kimberly Carr, and Kayley Wade.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020 from 6-8 PM at Dansby Heritage Chapel. Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 23 at 2:00 PM with Chris Wilkerson officiating.  Burial will be in Nances Creek Cemetery.                                                                                                                                Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Smith Family.
