Daniel Sanford

DANIEL PHILLIPS SANFORD, 73, of Jacksonville, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. He was a Calhoun County native and was a retired concrete finisher.        He was preceded in death by his parents: H.D. and Etta Phillips Sanford; and brother:  Jerry Sanford.

He is survived by his wife: Frances Parris Sanford; father in law:  Albert “Ted” Parris; Sisters: Shirley (Charles) Bullock, Patricia Peace and Diana Sanford; brother: Ray (Brenda) Sanford; brother in law: Donnie (Lucretia) Parris; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, December 15 at 2:00 PM from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Rev. William Cain officiating.  Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 PM with burial in Highland Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jim Peace, David Peace, Norman Cochran, Brian Boozer, Phillip Law and Danny Johnson.  Honorary Pallbearers will be William and Henry Phillips, Cole McMillan, Brother Peace and Hayes Peace.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials to Venecia’s Foundation, 108 North Center Avenue, Piedmont,  AL 36272.
