David Harlie Ross

DAVID HARLIE ROSS, 75, of the Rock Run Community, suddenly passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. He was born in Floyd County, Georgia, to Ernest Harlie and Mary Magdalene Lance Ross, who preceded him in death.  He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Pamela Denise Ross.                                                                                                                                                                                                                           He was employed with Coosa Valley Contractors until they dissolved their business working the pipeline and mechanic. He was a member of Pleasant Arbor Church and had just celebrated 39 years of marriage on November 23^rd. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who dearly loved all his family.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Survivors include his wife: Shelby Roland Ross; son: Steven David (Jess) Ross; daughter: Jessica Leann (Jimmy) Green; sister: Alice Roland; 6 grandchildren: Harlie Ross, Josiah Ross, Ayden Graben, Brayden Green, Tristin Green, and Remington Green; several brothers and sisters in law; and several nieces and nephews.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Funeral services will be held Friday, December 23 at 3:00 PM from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Rev. Thomas Ward officiating.  Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until funeral time.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Ross Family.
