Funeral Services for David Shane Nicholson will be Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 2 PM from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Rev. Tommy Ballew officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.
Shane, 41, of Piedmont was born in Calhoun Co, AL to Alice Fay Canter and Dean Odell Nicholson on Monday, July 24, 1972 and passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013. He attended Piedmont High School and Ayers Technical College. He was an avid Alabama Fan and loved all sports. He was preceded in death by his father, Dean, and sister, Melissa Nicholson; his grandparents: Naomi & Eugene Davis and Tevis & Billy Nicholson.
He is survived by his parents: James D. and Alice C. Allen; son: Brody Shane Nicholson; mother of his son: Tiffany Nicholson; several aunts uncles and cousins & friends.
