Donna Gail Price

DONNA GAIL SEWELL PRICE, 83, of Piedmont, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 at Gadsden Medical Center in Gadsden.  Born in Etowah County, AL to Bail Clifford and Edna Ann Mullins Sewell, she was a Piedmont resident for 40 years after moving from South Carolina.  She was married to the late Larryl Henry Price. Her parents also preceded her in death as well as a great grandchild, Holly, and brother, Ralph C. Sewell.

Ms Price worked most of her time at the Cotton Mill as a seamstress. She also worked at a Day Care and was a sitter for the sick and elderly, because she loved the children and wanted to be a help to those who needed her. She was a fiesty woman who would give you the shirt off her back and always looked her best.  She would get her hair ‘fixed’ every week and a pedicure monthly.

Survivors include her son: Shannon (Tammy) L. Price; daughter: Cecilia Leann (Tommy) Sims; grandchildren: Justin Cole (Morganne) Price, Joshua Larrell (Autumn) Price, Kyle (Breanna) Sims, and Taylor Sims; and great grandchildren: Emma Grace, Waylon, Elle, Damien, Cason, Autum, and Aiden.  

There will be no services for Mrs. Price.
