Graveside services will be at 10 AM Friday, May 27, 2022, at Rainbow Memorial Gardens for Elaine
Beasley Jones, age 87, of Rainbow City who died on Monday, May 23, 2022. Rev. Joe Wade will officiate.
Elaine was a member of First Baptist Church, Rainbow City. She retired from Holy Name of Jesus
Hospital after 38 years of service. She was born in Montgomery County Alabama on May 2, 1935 and
was a resident of Etowah County since 1940. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy
Franklin Jones on March 5, 2002, her parents, George and Elizabeth Beasley, brothers, John A. Beasley
and G. B. Beasley, sisters, Gaynell B. Stanley and Florence Hill, sister-in-law, Jean Beasley and brothers in
law, Hershel Stanley, Barney Turner, Jerry Fields, and Bert Hill.
She is survived by her brother, Roland Beasley; sisters, Frances Turner, and Freida Fields; stepson,
Jonathan Franklin (Teresa) Jones and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery after the service.
