DUSTIN CALE COOGLER, 43, of Piedmont, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2015.
A lifelong resident of Piedmont, AL, he was the son of Gus Coogler and Suzanne Alexander Ballard, and in the trucking business. He was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church, loved his dog, Buddy, who was his constant companion, enjoyed target shooting, reloading and refinishing firearms. He wrote, “I never knew what love was until the birth of my three children”.
He was preceded in death by his brother: Craig; grandparents: Otis and Gladys Coogler, Hank Alexander, Jean Alexander; and his beloved great grandmother: Nettie Coogler.
Survivors include his mother and step-father: Suzanne and Monty Ballard; father and step-mother: Gus and Pam Coogler; children: Caitlyn, Chloe, and Cade Coogler ; sister: Candi Fisher; step sister: Brittany Ballard Ramsey; niece and nephews: Madison Ward, Trey Fisher and Ethan Fisher; step nephews: George and Sam Ramsey; and his influential and supportive aunt and uncle: Jan and David Floyd.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 1-4 PM at Dansby Heritage Chapel. The service will follow at 4 PM with Rev. David Paisley officiating. Burial will be in Piedmont Memory Garden.
To all who knew him, he was kind, generous, and always willing to help anyone in need. He had many friends who loved and respected him and he will be truly missed.
