Ella McFry

ELLA MAE McFRY, 81, of Piedmont, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at her residence.  She was born in Piedmont to Frank Luke and Ruth Inez Goss Whorton and was a lifelong member of Philadelphia Baptist Church.  She was employed by Springs Manufacturing. She was preceded in death by her parents;  sons: Jeffery Scott McFry and Perry Jason McFry; grandson: Corey Bradley McFry;  and 3 brothers: Burr Whorton, Hoyt Eugene Whorton and Herman Whorton.
Survivors include her daughter: Wanda Lee McFry; brother: Jack (Geraldine) Whorton; sisters: Lillian Grissom and Glenda (Richard) Rhinehart; grandchild: Kristy Leigh McFry; and 2 great grandchildren.                                                                                                                                      Funeral service will be Thursday, June 30 at 4:00 PM from Dansby Heritage Chapel with visitation from 2-4 PM.  Burial will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery.  Rev. J. D. Whorton will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Philadelphia Baptist Church, 76 Wilson Mine Road, Piedmont, AL 36272.
