Funeral Services for Mrs. Emma Morgan McDougal will be held Monday, July 16, 2012 at 2:00 PM from Hughes Street Congregational Holiness Church with Rev. Hollis Martin and Rev. Matthew Rustin officiating. Visitation will be Monday, from 12 PM to 2 PM at the church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Piedmont.
Mrs. McDougal, 96, a resident of Gadsden for the past 64 years and formerly of Piedmont, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Gadsden Health and Rehab Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Newman McDougal, Sr.
Survivors include two daughters: Martha M. Chason and friend, John Polk, of Spanish Fort, AL and Robena M. Tucker of Columbus, Ga; three sons: Bonnie L. (Sue) McDougal of Oxford, AL, Dewey C. McDougal, of Gadsden, and friend, Mattie Wallace of Piedmont, and Newman A. (Wynelle) McDougal, Jr. of Hokes Bluff, AL; one sister: Catherine Houck of Piedmont; nine grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons.
