Ms. Fairria Hallford Oswalt, age 86, of Oxford, AL, went to be with the Lord on February 18th, 2023. She was born January 6th, 1937 to Ocie and Ellis Hussey Hallford. She was raised in Andalusia, AL.
Fairria is preceded in death by her loving husband, Glenn Davis Oswalt, her parents, Ocie and Ellis Hallford and her sister, Faye Daniel.
She is survived by: Sons- David Oswalt (Deb), Darryl Oswalt (Tammy), Ellis Oswalt (Mandy) and daughter, Carol Shadrick (Tim).
Grandchildren-Bobby Owen (Susan), Mallory Thigpen (Chris), Emily Oswalt Shamburger (Dale), Morgan Shadrick (MaKenzie), Daniel Oswalt, Ellis Wilson Oswalt, Andrea Lasseigne, Edie Smith, Tonya Grassele, Olivia Pierce, and Grissom Pierce

A host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved dog-Sissy
Fairria was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Oxford. She worked as a bridal consultant, seamstress and wedding planner at The Bridal Shoppe in Anniston. She loved working in her garden, sewing and reading.  Most of all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. 
Fairria will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Christopher Thigpen officiating, from Dansby Heritage Chapel in Piedmont. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Fairria will be laid to rest beside her beloved  husband in Highland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tim Shadrick, Morgan Shadrick, Bobby Owen, Daniel Oswalt, Camden Owen, and Ellis Wilson Oswalt.
