Frances Coogler Bragg, 77 of Jacksonville met Jesus face to face on Monday, September 14 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Born in Cedartown, GA to Chester Eugene and Elsie Aurellia Coley Coogler, she was a housewife and devoted wife to Horace Lee Bragg. They met when she was 14 and their love never wavered. She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from Post Oak Cemetery in Jacksonville with Rev. Jo Lane Kirk officiating. Pallbearers will be Josh Turner, Blake Reid, Brett Reid, Jody Maples, Joel Thrash, and Shane Wise.
She is survived by her husband Horace Lee Bragg; daughters: Leighann Bragg Diggs and her husband, Scott, Paula Reid and her husband, Randy; sisters: Diane (Ronnie) Ford, Mildred Hames, Marie Key; sisters in law: Eunice Coogler and Carol Coogler; grandchildren: Josh (Shanda) Turner, Jennifer (Joel) Thrash, Blake (Meghan) Reid, Brett Reid (Jessica) and Jody Maples; great grandchildren: Shane Wise, Shelby Thrash, Hunter Reid, Beckett Reid; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Bragg was an incredibly special, loving, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a fun-loving prankster with a giving heart. She lived and loved hard, devoting her life to Jesus and her family and her husband who was the love of her life.
