Frankie Keith "Butch" Minton

Frankie Keith “Butch” Minton, 70, of Piedmont, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Piedmont HealthCare Center. He was born in Gadsden, AL to Billy Nathaniel and Billie Jo Morgan Minton, who preceded him in death.  

He was a 1971 graduate of Piedmont High School, a 28-year member of Arrington Chapel where he served as Deacon, worked with Minton Construction, and retired from the City of Piedmont Street Department.  He was known and loved by all who knew him.  

He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law: Morris and Bonita Minton; and several nieces and nephews.  

Graveside services will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM from Highland Cemetery with Rev.   Sam Roe officiating.  Pallbearers will be Austin Brazier, Shane McElwee, Cade McElwee, Lyle Minton, Matt Minton, and Robert Holbrook.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Venecia’s Foundation or to Arrington Chapel Church. The family sends a special thank you to the Staff of Piedmont HealthCare Center and     Dr. Ulrich for their care and concern for Frankie while there.
