Garron Smith

Memorial service for Mr. Garron E. Smith, age 78 of Jacksonville, will be held at Cedar Springs Baptist Church on Monday, September 18, 2017, at 1:00 PM with the Rev. Jesse Barksdale, Rev. Tim Phillips and Rev. Bob McLeod officiating. Friends and family will meet from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Monday at the church.

Survivors include his daughter, Barbara Kimberly (Phil Jones); son, Clay Smith (Sandy); granddaughters, Amanda Bivens (Wesley) and Megan Parris; great-granddaughters, Allison and Payton Bevins; sisters, Betty Cain of Arab and Mary Manis (Martin) of Gadsden; and a brother, James Smith (Mildred) of Ohatchee.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Smith; a son, Kenneth Smith; and a brother, Guy Smith.

Mr. Smith was the owner and operator of Garron Smith Construction for 60 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved them all dearly.
