Hubert Holbrooks

Mr. Hubert Ray Holbrooks, 88, of Piedmont, peacefully transitioned to his Heavenly Home on Saturday, November 21, 2020 surrounded by his family.  He was born in Piedmont to Luther and Lena Gardner Holbrooks, who preceded him in death. He was a cement mason by trade for 50 years  and member of Faith Baptist Church.                                                                                                                                                                             He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jennie Reaves Holbrooks, brother: Oscar Holbrooks; and sister, Donna Faye Studdard.                                Survivors include his son: Keith Holbrooks and wife, Lisa; grandsons:  Brett (Trisha) Holbrooks and Cody Holbrooks;  great grandchild: Sarah Kate Holbrooks; and numerous nieces and nephews.                                                                                                                                                                   Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Rev. Elvin Smith officiating.  Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 2 pm at Dansby Heritage Chapel.  Burial will follow in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Butch Jacobs, Ricky Reaves, Brett Holbrooks, Cody Holbrooks, Chad Roper and Shane Mobbs.                                                                                                                         Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Holbrooks Family.
