Service for James "Jamey" Calvert, 46, of Piedmont, will be Friday, February 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from Piedmont Congregational Holiness Church (Hughes Street). Visitation will be Thursday, February 4 from 6-8 PM at Piedmont Congregational Holiness Church. Hayward Clark and Derrick Staples will officiate.
Mr. Calvert passed away Monday, February 2, 2016 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was employed with General Dynamics and was an avid Alabama Fan. He was preceded in death by his father: O.B. Calvert.
He is survived by his mother: Magalene Calvert; son: Dalton Calvert; daughter: Kristina Calvert; brother: Joey (Jeremy) Calvert; sister: Mary Lynn Stinson; chosen sister: Kristy Frisby; many special coworkers and friends.
