Janet CAROL Pittman, 79, of Piedmont, left her troubles behind for a better place on Wednesday,   September 28, 2022 where she now has complete health.  The Alabama native was born to James Alvin and Berma Gaynell Tolbert Anderson, who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Pittman, and brother in law, Thomas Wirth.          

She was a loving Mother, an avid Alabama fan, a member of Piedmont First Baptist Church, was a beautician, and had worked at LawTex years ago. She was a graduate of Piedmont High School where she was proud to be the head cheerleader.   

Survivors include her daughter: Allison Martin (Greg Hightower); son Michael Alan Pittman; sister: Patsy Wirth; and grandchildren: Ashley Pittman, Zach Pittman, Noah Pittman, Cole Martin, and Morgan Martin.  

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 30 at 4:00 p.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel.                                                                                                        

The family would like to extend a special thanks to all the nurses and staff at Piedmont Health Care Center for their love and care over the years.    

Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Pittman Family.
