Jerry Kiser

Jerry Lane Kiser, 60 of Piedmont passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at his residence.  Born in Etowah County, to Ernest Major and Alma Atkison Kiser, he was employed with Standard Coosa Thacker for 30 years and was an avid Alabama Fan.   He was preceded in death by his parents; a great granddaughter: Mackenzie Smith and a step daughter: Jeannie Messer.                             He is survived by his brothers:  Ernie (Nancy) Kiser of Huntsville and twin, Terry (Wanda) Kiser of Piedmont; son: Jerry Major Kiser and step son: Larry Alexander, both of Piedmont; 7 grandchildren:  Marty, Amanda and Jessica Messer, Faith Williams, Tyler and Skyler Nicholson, and Gavin Trey Kiser; and 4 great grandchildren: Riley Smith, Bradley Messer, Kelsie and Kaylie Dempsey.                                                                                                                                  Funeral Services will be Tuesday, November 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with burial in Highland Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 12- 2 PM.   Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Piedmont Rescue Squad, PO Box  333, Piedmont, AL 36272.
A beloved brother, father and grandfather, he will be dearly missed.                                      Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Kiser Family.
