JERRY RAY MASTERS, 59, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 17, 2020. He was born in Piedmont to Hubert Thomas and Anne Louise Baldwin Masters, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Masters.
He was owner of OK Tire, a devoted member of Piedmont Church of God where he wore many hats, and a friend to many who loved his wit and his witness. He was always one to help others in any way he could. There will be endless stories from people his family never knew he helped because he lived by the scripture to ‘not let the left hand know what the right hand was doing’.
He is survived by his High School sweetheart, Melanie McCoy Masters; their children: Brandon Ray (Holli) Masters and Jerry Bryan (Ashleigh) Masters; and the apples of his eyes: Brindlee, Holden , Brycen and Easton Masters. He is also survived by his mother in law: Joy McCoy; sisters: Wanda (Jerry) Warren and Barbara Smith; and brothers: Michael Masters and Tim (Carol) Masters; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Because of the situation with Covid-19, there will be no visitation and a private graveside will be held. There will be a Celebration of Jerry’s life at a later date.
Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Masters Family.
