Joe Curtis Goswick

JOE CURTIS GOSWICK, 90, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA. Born in Cherokee Co, AL to John Henry and Rose Mary Gillam Goswick, he was a common man who loved life and country music.                                                                                                      He worked in Atlanta before moving to Cedartown where he worked with Cedartown’s Parks and Recreation.  Retiring from there and not wanting to sit idle, he went to work with Kimoto Tech as a security guard.                                                                                                                                                                          He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Terry Goswick; and siblings: Jack, James Luther, Bobby Lee, Fred, Mary, Daisy, Lillian, and Sara.                                 He is survived by his daughters: Rosanna Nicholson and Bobbie Joe (Bobby Lee) Hulsey; grandchildren:    Kevin Nicholson, Angel Hulsey, Mary Ann Hulsey, Bobby Hulsey, and John Robert Hulsey; and great grandchildren: Chris Nicholson, Chrissy Nicholson, Sara Nicholson, Joe Henry Nicholson, Emma Kate LeMay, and Charlie LeMay.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Visitation will be Sunday, April 16, 2023 from 1-2 PM and the service at 2:00 PM from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Rev. Gary Black officiating.  Burial will follow in Arrington Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Lee Hulsey, Neal Short, Danny Brown, and Bobby Lee Goswick, Jr.
