Jordan Hunter

JORDAN TYRELL HUNTER, 31, of Jacksonville, AL passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 from a motor vehicle accident in Arkansas.  He was the son of Katie Lou Brown Sheppard and Johnny Ray Hunter, Jr., born at Ft. McClelland in Anniston, AL.

He was of the Baptist faith, attended Victory Baptist Church in his early years, and was a welder by trade. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: George E. and Frances Brown and John, Sr. and Linda Hunter; and aunt: Ann Davis.

He is survived by his parents: Katie and Bill Sheppard and Johnny Ray Hunter, Jr.; brother: Daniel Lee (Ashleigh) Sheppard; sister: Hannah Alexis (Brady) Grasser; half-sisters: Ann Hunter and Daphne Hunter; son: Kingston Royal Howdeshell; daughters: Lori Lou and Lucy Grace Hunter; and significant other: Kaitlin Howdeshell.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with visitation from 1-2 pm.  Burial will follow in Nances Creek Cemetery. Rev. Garry Brown will officiate and pallbearers will be Daniel Sheppard, Brady Grasser, Brad Traffanstedt, Levi Woodard, and James Tygret.
