JOSEPH MARK GOODWIN, 45, of Jacksonville, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2019 at NE AL Regional Medical Center. He was born in Gadsden, AL to John Stanley and Susan Dianne Burnham Goodwin. He was in the construction business and was a member of One Church in Oxford. His father and step father, Roy Clark, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Alicia Pate Goodwin; mother: Susan B. Clark; son: Joseph Samuel Goodwin; daughter: Corovon Desiree Goodwin; brothers: John Stephen Goodwin, Rev. Jeremy (Traci) Goodwin, and Jeffrey (Debbie) Clark; father and mother in law: Jeanette and Rickey Champion; and lots of great nieces and nephews . Memorial services will be held Sunday December 29 at 3:00 PM from One Church in Oxford with Rev. Jeremy Goodwin, Rev. Doug Studdard, and Rev. Kris Guthrie officiating. Friends and family will gather after the service at his mother’s house at 1224 Parker Boulevard, Weaver, AL 36277 and also tonight until 9:00 PM. Mark was a loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother who had an easy going personality and was loved by all who knew him. He was a great drummer, loved Elvis, and the song, “If It Wasn’t for the Lighthouse”. Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Goodwin Family.
