Juanita Conaway

JUANITA HOLMES CONAWAY, 91, of Piedmont, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at Piedmont Health Care Center. Born in Cherokee Co, AL to E.E. and Lillie Mallows Holmes, she was married to Harbon Ray Conaway. All of whom have preceded her in death.                                                 She is survived by three sons:  Danny Conaway (Shirley) of Spring Garden, Lewis Conaway (Theresa) of Centre, and Terry Conaway (Deborah) of Piedmont; brother: William Holmes of Piedmont; sister: Ruby H. Farmer of Fairhope, AL; grandchildren: Amanda Akhtar, Carly Cronan, Jacob Conaway, Tim Conaway, and Mauna K. Conaway; and great grandchildren: Christian Crow, Clessie Akhtar, Cale Akhtar, Lillie Conaway and Tristan Conaway.                                         Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 12:00 Noon at Dansby Heritage Chapel with visitation from 11 a.m. -12 p.m. Rev. Gene Howard will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery – Rock Run, AL.  In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Rock Run Baptist Church Family Life Center or to Carmel Community Church.                                                 Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Conaway Family.
