Larry Parker

Larry Wayne "Papaw" Parker, 62, of Saks, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his father, Luna A. Parker, and grandson, Wesley Scott Snider. He was an electrician and was a member of New Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from Faith Tabernacle Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 21 from 6- 8 PM at Dansby Heritage Chapel in Piedmont.

Survivors include his mother: Hazel E. Parker; mother of his children: Mary B. Parker; children: Anthony Wayne Parker (Bianca Lee), Micki Coggins, Sandra Snider, and Rebecca Parker ; sisters: Millie Haynes and Tammy Brown (Timothy); and 10 grandchildren: Tasha Marie Parker, Heather Lee Parker, Rusty Wayne Parker, Ashley Nicole Coggins, Damien Michael Martin, Darian McKenzie Martin, Amber Makayla Snider, Megan Rachelle Snider, Brady Lee Knight, and Keegan Alise Garrett.

Pallbearers will be Boyd Coppock, Josh Storey, Earl Storey, Ricky Knight, Scott Snider, and Denny Coggins.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Kevin Turner and Matt Curlee.

Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Parker Family.
