ETHEL LOUISE MARTIN, 95 of Nances Creek, passed away on Saturday, February 04, 2017 in Roanoke, AL. She was a seamstress at Law Tex Factory for 36 years, was a member of Union Assembly Church of God in Eason Hill, GA, and attended Nances Creek Congregational Holiness Church. Born in East Point, GA, to James Avery and Ella Jane Jacob Hindman, she had lived in Calhoun County for 75 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother: Lula Thompson Hindmon; husband, J.V. Martin; son: Larry Martin; 6 brothers and sisters (including her twin brother) and 2 step siblings. She is survived by granddaughter: Merredith (James) Sears; daughter in law: Chris Martin and husband, Rick; sister in law: Mildred Gresham; two great grandsons: Jacob Sears and Jared Sears; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 7 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 12- 1 at Dansby Heritage Chapel. Burial will follow in Piedmont Memory Garden. Rev. Wayne Smith and Rev. Thyra Smith will officiate. Pallbearers will be Kenny Holbrook, Greg Hindmon, James Hindmon, Philip Hindmon, Jacob Sears and Jared Sears. Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Martin Family.
