Margaret Jane "Kooter" Hardy Standridge, 66 of Piedmont (Ball Play Area in Cherokee County) passed away at her residence on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. She had been employed with Green Valley Growers. She was preceded in death by her parents: James Edward and Syble Ruth Motes Hardy; son: Jeffrey Uesry; brothers: James R. Hardy, Keith Hallman and Kerry Hardy; sister: Kathleen Berry; nephew:
Luke Hardy; and niece: Melissa Berry.
She is survived by her son: Michael (Elisha) Davis; daughter: Stacy Hardy;brothers: Ricky (Diane) Hardy and Drew(Cindy) Hallman; sister: Sara Hardy Trantham; special sister in law: Kimberly Hallman; grandchildren: Benjamin Glenn Hardy, Sonya and Katie Motes, Olivia and Lilly Davis; great grandson: Carson Law; special nieces and nephews: Joseph, Josh, Christian, and Ella "Goose" Trantham, Elijah and Abby Freeman; and Michelle "Huzzy" Rubio.
Gathering of Family and friends will take place at her residence at 1180- County Road 32, Piedmont (Cherokee Co.,) AL on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 1:00 PM until Sunday, May 14, 2017 at 8:30 AM.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Dansby Heritage Chapel, 707 Southern Ave., Piedmont, AL 36272.
