Mariea Bush

MARIEA KAY BUSH, 64, formerly of Centre, AL, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022 at Jacksonville Health and Rehab.

She was born in Wyandotte, MI to Franklin and Nellie Lynn, who preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by a brother: Franklin Lynn; and grandchild: Robert Wayne Brown.

She lived in the area for 20 years, was of Pentecostal Faith, and loved taking her grandchildren to the park.  When she was able, she loved to swim, visit the library and paint nails.  She studied art and was blessed to paint various scenes.

She is survived by her daughter: Christy Lynn Peek (Glenn Brown) of Piedmont; son: Chad Wayne Peek (Megan) of Michigan; sister: Frances Elswick (Robert) of Michigan; grandchildren: Halee Brown, Karma Anderson, Cierra Anderson, Hannah Brown, Aubrey Anderson and Chason Anderson.

Graveside services will be Monday, July 18 at 10:00 a.m. from Pleasant Gap Cemetery in Cherokee Co., AL.  There will be no visitation.
