Michal Allen

MICHAL HENDON ALLEN, 74 of Piedmont, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at her residence.  She was born in Bessemer, AL to Dudley Addington and Sylvia Pankhurst Hendon McDaniel and was a member of First Baptist Church of Piedmont.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter: Emma Lauren.
Survivors include her husband: Frank M. Allen; sons:  Gary Durant (Stephenie) Allen, Darryl (Melissa)  Allen, Mac (Samantha) Allen, and Ryan (Jessica) Hunt; daughter:  Susan Allen (Nathan) Twilley; sisters: Sally Whitton and Molly Doss; 5 grandchildren: Morgan Bixby, Brett Allen, Peyton Allen, Sammy Delevie, and Madison Allen; and 2 great grandchildren:  Tanner and Kailin.
Graveside services will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM from Gnatville Cemetery with Bryan Williams officiating.  The family requests memorials, in lieu of flowers, be made to Venecia’s Foundation, 108 North Center Ave, Piedmont, AL 36272.   Pallbearers will be Jerry Allen, Darryl Allen, Mac Allen, Peyton Allen, Ryan Hunt, and Nathan Twilley.
