Norman Ray

Norman Brent Ray, 60 of Hokes Bluff died Friday, May 24, 2013.  Services will be Tuesday, May 28 at  4:30 p.m. from Dansby Heritage Chapel in Piedmont with visitation from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Piedmont Memory Gardens.  Bro. Daniel Smith will officiate.                      He is survived by his children: Jonathan (Misty) Ray, Misty (Billy) Roberts, Jamie Ray, and Blake Ray; grandchildren: Brett Roberts and Hayden Ray; sister: Shelia Lambert; nephew: Sam Lambert.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lillie Powell Ray.                        Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.                                                                                                                                                           Mr. Ray was a veteran of the US Navy, retired from Goodyear and had been employed by Cintas. Mr. Ray always had a positive outlook on life and loved Nascar.  Special thanks to the many friends that helped during his time of illness. He will be greatly missed.                                Dansby Heritage Chapel is honored to serve the Ray Family.
