ROBERT LEWIS RHINEHART, 66 of Rock Run, AL passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Rock Run to Clyde Lee and Mary Pauline “Polly” Simmons Rhinehart on Wed., June 12, 1946. He worked at Super Value in Oxford for 36 years as a forklift operator, was an avid hunter, loved concrete finishing, and was known and loved by everyone with whom he came in contact. He served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam era and was discharged as an E-6 Staff Sergeant and Medic. He is survived by his parents, Clyde and Polly Rhinehart; his wife: Martha Hanson Rhinehart; children: Warren Rhinehart, Jerri (Craig) Lambert, Aaron Garner, and Hannah (Jeffrey) Shepherd; brother: Grady Rhinehart; and grandchildren: Ty Lambert, Bryant Lambert, and Madison Shepherd.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 30 at 2:00 PM from Rock Run Baptist Church with burial in Union Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2 PM on Tuesday at Rock Run Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Cancer Research or your local Relay for Life.
