Rodney Lanier Roberts, 64, of Piedmont, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016. He was a construction supervisor and the son of Elza Lanier Roberts and Betty Jo Mobley Roberts. He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors are his sister: Arlene Roberts Staehly; his mother: Betty Jo Roberts; son: Justin Lanier Roberts of Missouri; daughters: Melissa Ann Cantrell of North Dakota, and Tricia Roberts of Missouri; grandchildren: Samantha Ann Staehly, Shanna Jewel Staehly, Shanya Vivian Marie Staehly, Sabrina Angel Cowert, Taylor Maire Wren, Justice Ann Nicole Wren and Elijah Ray Wrenn.
Mr. Roberts will be cremated as per his request and a memorial service will be held at a later date at Dansby Heritage Chapel. Please feel free to watch for updates or call our obituary line at 256-447-4760.
