Ronald Proctor

Ronald Steve Proctor, 66, of Piedmont, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.  He was the caretaker/ maintenance for the Congregational Holiness Campground. He was preceded in death by his son, Scotty Eugene Proctor; parents, Billy Eugene Proctor and Lola Ilene Webb Proctor; brother, James Rodney Proctor; and sisters, Wanda Proctor Posey, Diane Proctor Measles Farmer, Connie Proctor and Sharon Proctor. He is survived by his wife, Linda Gail Ray Proctor; daughters: Sheri Proctor Mitchell (Julius) and Stephanie Proctor Freeman (Robert Jackson); grandchildren, Clayton Freeman, Dalton Mitchell, Heather Leeann Freeman, Angela Denise Freeman, and Mackinley Smith; and brother, Billy Proctor. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Dansby Heritage Chapel with Rev. Mark Willingham officiating. Burial will follow at Piedmont Memory Garden. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Clayton Freeman, Robert Jackson, Julius Mitchell, Kevin Measles, Dalton Mitchell and Randal Eubanks. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Congregational Holiness Campground, 3425 Possum Trot Road, Piedmont, AL 36272.
