ON THURSDAY, August 4, 2022 at 12 noon, THERE WILL BE A PRAYER AND CANDLELIGHT VIGIL FOR ALL FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO PARTICPATE IN ACROSS THE STATES.          Everyone is encouraged to stop and reflect on Mrs. Ruby and and pray for her family independently yet collectively

Mrs. Ruby Burns Stewart, 93, of Piedmont, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 at her residence.    Born on the farm in Cleburne County to Virgil and Pauline Hammett Burns, Mrs. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ollie Armstrong Stewart, and was Church of Christ.   She was also preceded in death by her sons in law: Robert Tolbert and Roland Dyess; and four brothers: Hoyt, Frank, Fred and David Burns.                                                                                                                                                                                        Survivors include her daughters, Belinda Tolbert and Teena Stewart; 3 grandchildren: Cory Stuart (Nicole) Tolbert, Amanda Tolbert (Craig) Price, and Morgan Stewart (Cody) Bozarth; three great grandchildren: Caitlin Savannah Tolbert, Alexander Tolbert Price, and Estella Bozarth; two sisters: Jewell Albright and Catherine Darmer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
