SARA FRANCES STUDDARD – 85, of Piedmont, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be Monday, Jan. 5, at 2:00 p.m. at Piedmont Church of God with burial to follow in Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 4 from 6-8 p.m. at Dansby Heritage Chapel. Pallbearers will be Jake Baggett, Grant Baggett, Jerry Bryan, Jr., Bill Dankovich, Keith Farmer and Bob Farmer.
Born in Calhoun County to John Monroe and Ethel Gibson Farmer, she was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Kirby Hearon Studdard. She was a housekeeper in Calhoun County Nursing Home and Hospital and was a licensed Church of God minister.
Survivors include her daughters: Johnnie (Jerry) Baggett and Betty June ( Lawrence Ray) Waldrop; sister: Helen Hall; 6 grandchildren: Tammy Baggett Dankovich, Grant Hearon Baggett, Jackie Baggett Encinas, Jerry Edward Bryan, Jr., Andrea Denise Bryan, and Jerry Jake Baggett, Jr.; 8 great grandchildren: Amanda Leigh Wood, Kimberly Nicole Draskovick, Jessica Danielle Rains, Jeremy Paul Bryan, Rachel Elizabeth Bagget, Kourtney Leigh Baggett, Daisy Grace Baggett, and Nikalus Jake Baggett; and 2 great, great grandchildren: Joshua Draskovick and Kaley Brynn Wood.
