Sherry Ann Wilemon

Sherry Ann Wilemon, 50, of Weaver passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at RMC- Stringfellow.  Born in Naples, Italy, to William Patrick and Palma Lou Johnson Wilemon, while her dad was in the Navy.

She worked at Piedmont Health Care Center, Jack’s, and McDonalds over the years. She was a graduate of Piedmont High School, enjoyed riding through the country, enjoying Facebook, YouTube videos, recipes, and Alabama football.  But her true joy was loving her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother: Palma Lou Wilemon; grandmothers: Evelyn Lyon and Zada Price; sister: Karen Sue Wilemon; and cousins: Jeremy McCurdy and Dawn Law.

She is survived by her father: Patrick (Gleatha Diane) Wilemon; son: Joshua (Heather) Aaron; brother: Chris Wilemon; special friend: Dustin Aaron; aunt: Datha Allen; and cousins:  Michael Thompson, John McCurdy, Jason & Stephanie Allen, Eric & Valerie Emeigh, and Katlyn McCurdy.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. from Dansby Heritage Chapel with Dr. C.O. Ginstead officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30 A. M. until funeral time. The family requests memorials to Venecia’s Foundation or potted plants.
