Vickie Delores Bishop

VICKIE COCHRAN BISHOP, 62, of Piedmont, passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at her residence. Born in Piedmont to Sid and Johnie Louise Reynolds Cochran, she worked at the sock mill in Ft. Payne, AL.  She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons: Bryan Wesley Bishop and Joseph Wesley Bishop;  granddaughter: Magnolia “Maggie” Flowers; and daughter in law: Christi Welch Bishop.

Vickie was a great mother and grandmother.  She was an amazing and generous person who would give you the shirt off her back. Through many hardships in life over the years, she became a strong woman and passed that strong independent virtue on to her children. 

She is survived by her son, Cody Bishop; daughter, Taylor Flowers; brothers, Grady Cochran and Norman Cochran; and three grandsons she loved with all her heart, Owen, Evan, and Augustus Flowers.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 3:00 PM from Dansby Heritage Chapel. Friends and relatives may join the family at 2:30 PM to help celebrate her life.
