Zimina Thompson

ZIMINA ROCHELLE THOMPSON, 46, of Piedmont, suddenly passed away at her residence on Sunday, May 31, 2020. The Calhoun County native was the daughter of Randell Scott and Olivia Delisa Williams Thompson.  A loving daughter, sister, wife and beloved mother to her children and grandchildren, she was employed by McDonald’s in Piedmont.  The soft-spoken, humble woman was loved by family, friends, and customers with whom she came in contact.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Thomas Williams, Velma Williams, Shannon and Martha Thompson.

Left to cherish her memories are her parents; her husband: Eric Carpenter; children: Paporcia Thompson, Trey Carpenter, TaShera Carpenter, and Trevaughn Carpenter; sister: Melissa (Guido) Thompson Moore; brother: Derrick Thompson; grandchildren: Adrian Thompson, Malakhi Carpenter and Jaxon Carpenter;  a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, many other relatives and friends who loved her dearly

.Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Dansby Heritage Chapel with Rev. Diane Williams officiating.  Visitation will be from 1- 2 PM at Dansby Heritage Chapel.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
